V-SAC has a permanent presence in the Criminal Courts of Justice (Parkgate Street), Dublin, but the cases it handles come from all parts of the country. Our court accompaniment service also operates in Tallaght and Blanchardstown District Courts and more recently in the Eastern and South Eastern Circuit Courts. There are currently 40+ volunteers working with the service.

During 2019, V-SAC provided court accompaniment to 1,482 victims of crime, their families and witnesses.  The cases involved homicides, rape/sexual assault,  assault and domestic violence, among others (including death by dangerous driving, criminal damage, theft, etc) in the Central Criminal Court, Circuit and District Courts. We also supported victims in 81 pre-trial visits, 19 retrials, 59 sentencing hearings and 8 appeals.
