Objectives and Strategy

V-SAC is steered by the three priorities set out in its strategic plan 2025-2027 and the goals under each priority.

Below are the high level objectives of V-SAC’s Strategic Plan 2025-2027.

Strategic Priority 1: MAINTAIN

We need to ensure that the quality of the service we deliver to victims and witnesses of crime across the
country continues to meet our high standards. high quality support for persons affected by crime who needs it.

  1. Ensure Continued Levels of Support for Current Volunteers
  2. Data Collection
  3. External Partner Engagement

Strategic Priority 2: GROW

As the demand for our service grows across the country, we must respond by anticipating the future needs of victims and witnesses of crime, volunteers and staff.

  1.  Obtain additional and reliable State funding to fulfil the growing needs of the victims
    and witnesses of crime
  2. Volunteer growth programmes
  3. External training and awareness building for interested community members.
  4. Learning Culture – foster a culture of knowledge exchange
  5. ‘In the Loop’ on systemic changes
  6. Organisational Planning

Strategic Priority 3: FLOURISH

New opportunities to provide every victim and witness of crime with knowledge of our service, and the opportunity to engage us will be explored and piloted.

  1. Clear and consistent advertisement of availability of support from V-SAC.
  2. Collaboration to meet victims’ needs
  3. Support our colleagues
  4.  Promote high-quality victim court facilities
