How We Help

Victim Support at Court is here for you as we know how difficult going to court can be for victims and witnesses. We are there to support you, your family and friends through the whole experience.

As well as supporting you emotionally, we can provide lots of information before the trial, about what to expect and even let you see a court room beforehand.  All of this can help you to feel more confident when it’s your time to attend court.  Our specially trained volunteers will go into the courtroom with you. In our experience a lot of people who have used the service find it reassuring just to know that someone is there especially for them. It also means that if you want to talk about what happened afterwards, someone will have been through it with you.
